Jess Kretchmar, APRN

Jess Kretchmar went to Kansas State University for her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. After graduating, she pursued her nursing degree at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas. She worked for six years as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. During this time, she obtained her Master’s degree at the Research College of Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner.

After working in emergency medicine, Jess realized how important the patient education side of medicine is to ensure positive outcomes. Being able to follow up with patients in a clinic setting was appealing to her as she can follow the progress patients make following procedures or injuries.

Jess’s interest in orthopedics started during her younger years participating in sports and in her days as a nursing assistant at an orthopedic center.

In her free time, Jess loves to hang out with her husband and dog, go to the lake, and spend time with her family and friends.

Jess works alongside Dr. Tim Roberts in clinic.

Sano Orthopedics Advanced Practice Providers have experience in treating orthopedic injuries and pain. They are typically paired with one of our orthopedic surgeons to help manage consistency of care. They work either in clinic and/or surgery to provide quality care for our patients.
