Dr. Sigi Joseph is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. With a reputation for excellence in surgical care, Dr. Joseph previously established the Bariatric Program at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO, where he has served as Bariatric Director since 2015. Prior to this, Dr. Joseph was part of the surgical team at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia, MO. 

Dr. Joseph joined Sano Specialty Care in 2024. At Sano, Dr. Joseph is focused on expanding our weight loss program to better serve our patients through comprehensive, personalized care. His philosophy is simple: “Treat every patient as if they are my family or friend, with the equal time, attention, and commitment that I would invest in those closest to me.” This approach mirrors Sano’s dedication to offering personalized, comprehensive care that prioritizes the well-being of each individual patient.
