
Dr. Daniel Farrell, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement, earned his medical degree from St. Louis University and holds a holds a master’s in Exercise Science with emphasis in biomechanics. Board Certified of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and with Subspeciality boards in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, he completed his residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He completed a combined fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Denver Children’s Hospital, Denver Colorado and The Steadman-Hawkins clinic in Vail Colorado.
Dr. Farrell has extensive experience in robotic surgery, including knee and hip arthroplasty, and is a recognized instructor in this field. He also performs arthroscopic procedures for knee and shoulder reconstruction. Committed to Functional Medicine, Dr. Farrell emphasizes its importance in optimizing athletic performance and overall health. He enjoys activities like waterskiing, weightlifting, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Farrell is currently accepting new patients at Sano Specialty Care’s Overland Park office.

Chris Klipfel, PA-C
Chris Klipfel, PA-C
Chris Klipfel, PA-C, earned his Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, then completed his master’s in physician assistant studies at Stephens College. His interest in orthopedics started early—his mom is a physical therapist—and that sparked a passion for helping people recover and regain function.
Chris works alongside Dr. Farrell in clinic and surgery. He’s motivated by building strong patient relationships and giving people the tools to take charge of their recovery.
