Dr. Bryan Beutel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist care.
Dr. Bryan Beutel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist care at Sano Orthopedics. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in biological engineering from Cornell University and earned his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he also completed an orthopedic research fellowship as part of a clinician-scientist training program. Following this training, Dr. Beutel completed his hand surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City under the mentorship of Dr. Charles P. Melone, Jr. He went on to practice hand surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio for several years before moving to Kansas City where he is an assistant professor at Kansas City University.
With a passion for research, Dr. Beutel has published over 30 scientific journal articles on orthopedics and hand surgery, authored several book chapters, and has had his research presented at regional, national, and international conferences. He is an Active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), a member of the American Association for Hand Surgery (AAHS), and a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
Dr. Beutel is known for his humanistic approach to patient care and for emphasizing patient education. When not working at Sano Orthopedics or teaching at Kansas City University, he is busy helping raise two children with his wife.
