Sano Orthopedics works with many insurance plans. Your claim reimbursement is dependent on the details of your particular plan.  As an extension of our regular orthopedic clinic, your co-pay and fee are the same if you visit one of our other providers.

For details about your specific benefits, refer to your plan’s benefit manual or your insurer’s website, or call the number on the back of your insurance card for details about your specific benefits.

*Because we are credentialed as a specialist which differs from a traditional Urgent Care or Walk-In Clinic, HMO patients will require authorization. Please contact your insurance company to verify referral or authorization requirements prior to your arrival to eliminate any unnecessary wait time.

Our team of orthopedic specialists manages musculoskeletal and sports injuries in seniors, adults, and children ages 5 and up. This includes pediatric fractures. For spine (back and neck) pain, ages 18+.
Our Ortho & Sports Urgent Care is an extension of our regular orthopedic clinic. Most insurance companies will charge a larger copay for urgent care and emergency room visits. Since this is an extension of our regular clinic, patients typically pay a regular office visit copay. We only treat musculoskeletal injuries.

Our orthopedic urgent care is an extension of our orthopedic clinic. Thus, you can expect the same steps if you scheduled a visit with one of our Providers. After check-in and new patient intake forms are complete, our team will take x-rays, if needed, and complete a physical exam. With your input, our team will outline treatment recommendations and appropriate follow-ups.

Sano offers preseason sports physicals through our ortho urgent care walk-in clinics. This service is a $20 cash pay. If you have forms from your school, university or team that need to be completed, please bring those with you. If you need your exam to be performed by a physician, not a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate, please text or call ahead to confirm availability.

Sports physicals

A pre-participation physical examination helps determine whether or not an athlete is safe for sports. Most states often require a sports physical to participate in team sports. Sano Orthopedics sports medicine surgeons and specialists now offer walk-in sports physicals at our Ortho Urgent Care Clinics.
